Not only is Outlook a powerful e-mail client, but it can also be incredibly useful for organizing your schedule and in the case of this quick and easy tutorial, it can also be great as a RSS feed reader.
The first thing you need to do is grab the feed URL from your favourite sites, you can usually get this by clicking on the RSS feed link and then copying the URL from the address bar in your browser.
Once you have the feed address, the next thing to do is start up Outlook if you do not have it running already and then right click on the RSS Feeds icon in the panel to your left and then select Add RSS Feed as shown in the screenshots below:
As you can see from the screen captures above, I used the RSS feed URL for this site just to demonstrate how to do it. Keep in mind you can add as many feeds as you want and feel free to play around with the advanced settings if you feel up to it, this tutorial is just to get you started. I hope you enjoyed it
